General terms of use
1. Introduction
These General Terms of Use (hereinafter “Terms”), together with the Privacy Policy, the Returns Policy, the NFC Service Terms of Use and the Shipping and Payment terms, apply to any purchase of products and use of services (hereinafter “Products” and “Services” respectively) made through the online store and the platform www.nuo.mobi. (hereinafter “Website” or “Platform”).
The Website is owned and operated by the company ANDERSONS MIKE, which is located in Kaissariani, Attica, 48 Manolidis L., Tax ID: 801163697, Tax Office: KEFODE Attica, email: sales@nuo.mobi, tel: 210 882 1109 (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “NUO”).
NUO provides both an e-shop for the sale of physical NFC products and a web-based content hosting platform (SaaS) for the management of NFC Cards, NFC Cubes and NFC Devices. These Terms cover both dimensions.
Acceptance of Terms: Any user who enters, navigates, registers, purchases products or makes use of the Services (hereinafter “User” or “Customer”) is deemed to accept these Terms unconditionally and expressly waives any claim contrary to them. If he/she does not agree, he/she must refrain from any use and transaction.
These Terms are formulated in accordance with Law 2251/1994, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and Law. 4624/2019.
2. Definitions
- “Products”: The physical NFC Products sold through the Site (NFC Cards, NFC Cubes, NFC Devices).
- “Services”: The NUO web platform that provides NFC content hosting, analytics, contact vault, subscription management and all related functionality.
- “User Content”: Any text, image, link, WiFi data or other material that the User submits through the Platform.
- “Subscription: The annual subscription that provides access to the Services.
- “Contact Vault: The functionality to collect contact data from third party scanning NFC Cards/Cubes.
- “Force Majeure”: Any event beyond the Company’s control, including but not limited to: acts of God, wars, pandemics, strikes, cyber-attacks, failures of third party providers, governmental decisions, power or telecommunications outages.
3. Sold Products & Prices
The Products sold are products of the Company. Prices include VAT (24%) but not shipping costs. The Company reserves the right to adjust prices without notice.
Nature of Products: NFC Products are physical devices that are connected to Digital Services. The purchase includes the physical device and 1 free year of access to the Services. After the first year, a subscription renewal is required.
4. Orders & Conclusion of Contract
The order is submitted through the special form on the Website. By submitting it, the Customer declares that he/she has taken note of it:
- The main characteristics of Products and Services.
- The Company’s identity, address, telephone number and email address.
- The total price, including VAT, fees and shipping costs.
- Means of payment and delivery.
- The terms of withdrawal (14 days).
- Liability for actual defects (CC 534 et seq.).
- The possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution.
- The existence of digital Services linked to the Products and the need for active subscription.
- The obligation to pay upon submission of the order.
5. Payment methods & Security of Transactions
Payment is made via: (a) Nexi e-Commerce, or (b) PayPal. Payments are processed via TLS/SSL. The Company does not store credit card details. In case of fraudulent card use, the Customer must immediately inform the issuing bank.
6. Shipping Products
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, within 5-8 working days and within 30 days at the latest. Products are shipped by courier or through a network of automatic pick-up points (BOX NOW), at the Customer’s choice during the ordering process. Shipping time is subject to availability and Force Majeure.
7. Right of Withdrawal
The Customer is entitled to withdraw within 14 calendar days of receipt, provided that:
- The package has not been opened.
- Digital Services have not been activated (device has not been paired with an account).
For exercise: email sales@nuo.mobi. Refund within 14 days of receipt of the returned product. Return costs are borne by the Customer.
Exception: According to article 3b of Law 2251/1994, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has already been activated, provided that the Customer has consented.
8. Use of the Platform & Services
Use of the SaaS Services is further governed by the NFC Service Terms of Use.
Create an Account: The User is solely responsible for the accuracy of his/her data, the security of his/her password and any action taken through his/her account. The Company is not responsible for unauthorized access due to the actions or omissions of the User.
Age Restriction: Use is permitted only to persons over 18 years of age or minors under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
9. Acceptable Use Policy
The User is solely responsible for the way he/she uses the Website, the Services and the NFC Products. The Company is not liable for any damages caused to third parties by the use of the Services by the User. It is expressly prohibited:
- Posting illegal, defamatory, racist, threatening or pornographic content.
- The use of NFC redirects for phishing, spam, malware or misleading third parties.
- Infringement of third party intellectual property rights.
- Bulk spamming via Contact Vault.
- Attempting unauthorized access to third party accounts or Platform systems.
- The use of bots, scrapers or automation without written permission.
- Any use that violates applicable law.
9.1. Sanctions – Direct Action
The Company shall be entitled, at its sole discretion, to make without prior notice:
- Suspension or permanent account termination.
- Remove or disable content and NFC products.
- Report to the competent authorities.
The User expressly waives any claim for compensation regarding the termination, suspension, removal of content or deactivation of products due to a violation of the Terms.
10. Availability of Services & Interruption of Service
10.1. No Availability Guarantee
The Company does not provide any guarantee of uninterrupted, uninterrupted or error-free operation (uptime). Access may be interrupted at any time due to maintenance, technical failures, cyber attacks, decisions of the hosting provider, Force Majeure or any other reason.
10.2. Interruption without notice
In case of Force Majeure, cyber attacks, court order, security risk or breach of the Terms, the Company is entitled to immediately suspend the Services without prior notice and without any liability or obligation to pay compensation.
10.3. Definitive Termination
The Company reserves the absolute right to discontinue, modify or permanently terminate the operation of the Website, the Services or any part thereof, at any time, with or without justification, and without any obligation of compensation. In the event of a planned permanent termination, a reasonable period (at least 30 days) will be given for data extraction where technically feasible. Active subscriptions will be compensated on a pro-rata basis.
The User expressly acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to any compensation or legal claim for temporary or permanent termination, other than a pro-rata refund of the active subscription in case of planned permanent termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1. Provision “as is”
The Website and the Services are provided “as-is” and “as-available”, without any warranty, express or implied, as to their suitability, reliability, availability, accuracy or completeness. The User expressly acknowledges that the use is solely at his/her own risk and responsibility.
11.2. Liability for User Content
The Company bears no responsibility whatsoever:
- For the Content that the User registers, publishes or shares through the Platform.
- For damages to third parties caused by the User’s Content, URLs or NFC redirects.
- Malicious, illegal or fraudulent use of the Services by the User.
- For the use of Contact Vault by the User (spam, illegal marketing, sale of data to third parties).
- For consequences from the scanning of the User’s NFC products by third parties (visitors).
- For loss of data due to technical failure, Force Majeure, incompatibility of third party devices or actions of third party providers.
- For lost profits, moral damages, indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
11.3. Limits of compensation
In any case, the total liability of the Company – regardless of the cause and theory of liability (contractual, tort, negligence or other) – may not exceed the amount paid by the User during the last 12 months.
11.4. Product Liability
The Company is liable for actual defects according to CC 534 et seq. only for fraud or gross negligence.
12. Indemnification obligation (Indemnification)
The User is obliged to fully compensate the Company, its directors, employees and associates. from any claims, damages, costs, expenses, fines, court costs and attorney’s fees arising from:
- Violation of these Terms by the User.
- The Content entered by the User on the Platform.
- Malicious, illegal or negligent use of the Services or NFC Products.
- Third-party claims related to the User’s activity on the Platform (e.g. violation of GDPR, intellectual property, phishing).
This obligation survives the termination of the account or the expiration of the subscription.
13. Force majeure
The Company bears no responsibility and has no obligation to compensate for any damages for delay or inability to perform obligations due to Force Majeure (as defined in Section 2). In case of Force Majeure:
- The Company may discontinue the Services without prior notice.
- The User is not entitled to any compensation, refund or any other claim.
- The Company’s obligations are suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure event.
- If the event lasts beyond 90 days, the Company is entitled to permanently terminate the Services without any obligation to pay compensation.
14. Intellectual & Industrial Property
The entire content of the Website is the property of the Company. Reproduction or use is prohibited without written permission.
15. Informative Messages
The Company sends newsletters only after explicit consent. Unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link or at sales@nuo.mobi.
16. External Links
The Company bears no responsibility for third party websites. Access is at the sole risk of the User.
17. Waiver of Claims
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the User expressly and unconditionally waives any claim claim against the Company concerning the Company:
- Suspension, suspension or termination of the Services for any reason.
- Loss of data due to technical failure, Force Majeure or actions of third parties.
- Consequences of using the Platform, including commercial damages, lost profits and moral damages.
- Remove content or disable products due to violation of the Terms.
This waiver shall survive the termination of the contractual relationship.
18. Amendments to the Terms
The Company may amend the Terms at any time. Amendments shall take effect from their publication. Continued use constitutes acceptance. In the event of material changes, notification will be sent by email.
19. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
The Terms are governed by Greek law. The Courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction. Extrajudicial resolution:

20. Severability (Severability)
If any term is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect. The invalid term will be replaced by a valid term that comes as close as possible to the original intent.
